Accounting For Psychologist Newsletter #1

Happy New Year!

Here at Sheridans we’re celebrating the new financial year by starting a newsletter for our psychologist clients and including a link for this year’s version of the Sheridans self employed psychologist’s spreadsheet.

In this inaugural newsletter I’ll introduce the Sheridans team working with our psychologist clients and give you a heads-up on all the important dates for your tax calendar for 2022-2023.

Meet the Team:

I’m pleased to say that the “accountants for psychologists team” here at Sheridans has expanded.  In the past I was the only one primarily working with psychologist.  It seems that word has gotten around and now have three additional staff… and counting, that is now assisting me with our psychologist clients. Thanks for that, we know we couldn’t have done it without you. We’re grateful for your support because we know that our best recommendations come from happy clients.

So, here's the team:

I’m Fairuz. You’ve all met me.  As you know, I’m an accountant and a mortgage broker.  I’m passionate about helping people to make strong financial decisions, not just in their business, but also with their personal finances.  Stay tuned, because my partner and I have been working on a book which explains how to get your personal finances sorted.

One of my other passions is excel.  I love making spreadsheets and I know that you’ll find the one attached invaluable for your business.

Meet Sandra.  Sandra is our tax manager.  She has over 25 years of working in the industry and has been working with us at Sheridans for 5 years. Her skills and experience make the fine art of tax returns look easy.

Olivia is a tax accountant as well as a bookkeeper with detailed knowledge of tax rules specifically related to allied health professionals.  Added to her skills in bookkeeping, we’re lucky to have her on board.

Kristy is an asset to our team not just because of her jovial nature, but also because of her expertise in bookkeeping for health professionals. She has been in the industry for over 20 years.

So, there’s our team, so far... they are all very experienced and have extensive knowledge of your industry.
