Sheridans has a long and proud history of servicing the local Glenelg and Adelaide business community. In fact, the firm has offered accounting, tax and advisory services since it was established in 1986.
Sheridans Accountants opened in June 1986 at 11 Brighton Road, Glenelg, South Australia. The founder, Greg Sheridan, commenced operations as a sole trader with his wife Dana Sheridan and a part time receptionist. In May 1988 they seized the opportunity to move to a more prominent location at 593 Anzac Highway, Glenelg.
By 1996, Greg and Dana had employed an additional 2 staff to assist with the growth of the business and realised they needed to provide additional services to their expanding client base. A decision was made to amalgamate their business with the financial planning business of long-time friend and client, Shane Holmes. The new relationship enabled Sheridans to expand their range of services to include risk insurance and financial planning advice to their clients.
The business flourished and by 1999 a decision was made to build a modern office complex on the same site which would allow easier access and continued expansion of our professional service offering to clients. The business commenced operating from the new premises in January 2000.
In May 2002 as the business continued to grow, Greg, Dana and Shane again saw a need to expand the services offered to clients. To meet this need, John Suter, an experienced business consultant was invited to join the practice and the new company "Sheridans Accountants and Financial Planners Pty Ltd" was formed.
Sheridans Accountants and Financial Planners Pty Ltd now provides an extensive and holistic range of financial and business services to meet our clients ever growing needs and requirements. The Directors and staff are continually seeking and implementing new ideas and utilising modern technology to improve efficiencies within the practice. The enthusiasm of our staff to embrace change allows us to invest more time in assisting our clients with growing and developing their businesses, improving their personal wealth and helping them become financially well organised.
