Using SMSFs to Expand into Property Investment

Superannuation property investment is now available in Australia.

SMSFs that do not have sufficient funds to purchase real estate outright can now borrow for residential & commercial property.

The Superannuation Industry Supervision Act (SIS Act) was amended in September 2007 to allow SMSFs to do this so long as a special structure is used.
